31/03/201 Downs A beat Clifton St Vincents 2-3 with a last minute penalty. They are in second place in the league, wrestling manfully with promotion. On the 21st April they have a huge match against Sneyd Park Res. Downs B lost to Green Park Rangers 0-4. I am sure it was a manful 0-4… if there is such a thing. The Netball 1s apparently received a heavy spanking but have not reported it on their facebook page. In the words of the well known song – “I has all gone quite over there”. Frozen pitches did for the footballers again this weekend. Don’t forget the Sundays are through to the semi-finals of the GFA Cup. The semi-final will be against Sportsman and will be played at BAWA on Sunday (19th). The other semi has already been played so that if they will play Beaufort to retain the cup.
