Yesterday the Saturday B Team won the Bristol Downs League 3rd Division winning their final game against Beachcroft LLP Res 5-1. congratulations to Dave and his team in particular Nathan who had a very interesting afternoon. Nathan not only scored a hat-trick but also got 21 ‘donkey’ votes, beating the previous highest number by some considerable distance. It seems that Nathan learnt a serious lesson, if you are going to embarrass yourself don’t do it in front of the largest crowd of the season.

As well as the Downs League 3rd Division title the men’s football also have the Bristol & District Sunday League 1st Division and the Bristol Casual League 2nd Division titles under their belt. They still have the chance to win the Harry Mottram Cup and the Sid Rumins Cup.

Also, yesterday the Cricket 3rd Team started their second season with their 1st ever win, beating Avonside by 13(ish runs).
